Job Opportunity

The role of a Porter is pivotal in ensuring exceptional service delivery to guests, fostering an atmosphere of warmth and comfort.

Responsibilities include maintaining the front office premises as safe, clean and comfortable environments for guests.

  • Welcoming all guests upon arrival and departure.
  • Using guests' names once known to establish rapport.
  • Reviewing daily arrival lists for VIPs or guests with special requirements.
  • Efficiently collecting and delivering guest luggage, mail, messages and equipment.
  • Accompanying guests to their rooms, placing luggage inside.
  • Ensuring timely and efficient delivery and collection of group luggage.
  • Parking and retrieving guests' cars with care when necessary.
  • Providing information on room and hotel facilities, answering questions.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a hotel or serviced apartments setting preferred.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Familiarity with local areas and surroundings.
  • Australian Driver's License required.
