Job Description:

This is a critical role that involves the development and maintenance of strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels, minimize supply chain costs, and meet customer demand.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain supply plans based on sales forecasts, historical data, and inventory targets. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate planning and timely replenishment of products.

  • Collaborate with demand planners, production teams, and procurement to ensure accurate planning and timely replenishment of products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to maintain optimal stock across distribution centers or production sites.
  • Generate purchasing requisitions for timely procurement of manufacturing components and purchased finished goods.
  • Identify potential supply constraints and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track key supply chain metrics (e.g., inventory turnover, service level, forecast accuracy).
  • Ensure system data (e.g., lead times, safety stocks, order quantities) is accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure supplier performance aligns with supply requirements.
  • Support new product launches and phase-outs with appropriate planning and coordination.
  • Contribute to S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes and meetings.
  • Continuously seek process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
