About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Program Manager to join our Commercial team at Club Marine. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering strategic projects and programs that optimize outcomes and processes to ensure compliant and efficient performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for the successful delivery of strategic and regulatory-related programs, including proactive intervention and decision-making through disciplined project and change management processes.
- Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to programs and systems, including risk and issues escalation or mitigation and effective governance.
- Accountable for the development and integration of new programs and processes to support the strategic direction of the business.
- Identify, assess, manage, and mitigate all risks generated by the business strategy.
- Accountable for the delivery of Club Marine business projects, including prioritization, requirements elicitation, change management, and execution.
- Oversee solution design and product delivery through the implementation of controls, including effective management, coordination, and execution for new initiatives.
- Accountable for the effective integration of change associated with programs, including training, UAT, and communications, while effectively engaging and collaborating with key stakeholders.
About You
- A relevant tertiary qualification or other related qualifications are preferred, along with knowledge or certification in project or program methodologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the general insurance industry and/or financial services.
- Extensive experience and demonstrated ability to deliver strategic outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
- Able to identify, analyze, and assess risks inherent to the business and put in place appropriate controls/actions to manage the risks for future sustainability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends, and links that inform judgments and solutions.
- Significant experience in definition, mobilization, and delivery of a portfolio of projects and the application of appropriate methodologies.
- Experience in end-to-end project delivery – business case development through to execution and implementation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing resource demands across a specialized team.
- Experience working on change initiatives, projects, process support requiring engagement with multiple stakeholders, including IT, business stakeholders, external partners, and vendors.
- Ability to identify issues, obstacles, and opportunities and then develop, present, and implement effective solutions.
