Event Coordinator Role

A dynamic and skilled Event Coordinator is required to manage the coordination and planning of executive weddings and events at a leading attraction. This key role involves working closely with the Wedding and Events Executive to deliver exceptional event experiences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing enquiries and creating customized proposals and quotations;
  • Liaising with wedding parties and external suppliers to ensure seamless event execution;
  • Coordinating event logistics, including food and beverage management, run sheets, and event order of proceedings;
  • Processing deposits and final billing reconciliations, and invoicing as required;
  • Providing project management support for all events and assisting with Wildlife Warrior events as needed;
  • Developing marketing and sales materials in conjunction with the Advertising and Digital Manager;
  • Organizing and coordinating team assistance with weddings, special events, and attraction events;
  • Managing Adopt-an-Animal and Annual Pass Programs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar event or wedding role;
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and KPIs;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize based on event schedules;
  • Strong communication and customer service skills;
  • Conceptual thinker with superior problem-solving skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and website software;
  • Highly organized, efficient, and effective under pressure;
  • Strong availability including weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.
