Job Title

Event Coordinator is a pivotal role that oversees the end-to-end logistics of events. The job entails coordinating with presenters, securing venues, preparing session planners, and promoting events through various channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a rolling 12-month plan for professional development programs on topics relevant to the industry.
  • Coordinate and administer all online events, including presenter selection, event registration management, and speaker introduction.
  • Prepare and manage financial reports for each event to ensure viability.
  • Oversee the practical aspects of events management, including attendee registration, greeting attendees, and managing housekeeping tasks for online events.
  • Manage the logistics of in-person events, including setting up rooms, ordering catering, and facilitating networking opportunities.
  • Provide evaluation reports at the conclusion of every online event to stakeholders.
  • Participate actively in weekly meetings with the Manager, Online Professional Development, and monthly national CPD meetings.
  • Perform general calendar management for the office to facilitate events and workshops.
Requirements:
  • High-level time management, organizational, and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including public speaking.
  • Strong event management skills.
  • Ability to learn and master new processes and IT tools.
  • Solid research competence.
  • Ability to design and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work outside regular hours as needed and travel when required.
