Job Role

We are seeking passionate and driven individuals to join our service and reach out to communities that may not typically engage with the health system.

The role involves undertaking initial intake and safety planning for clients, working with individuals and their families to create individualized case plans. You will also provide ongoing support sessions with clients, reviewing progression and safety as required.

Liaising with other support services and organisations to coordinate the requirements of the case plan, delivering group programs which support the practical needs of the clients and ensuring documentation is completed and updated in line with protocols.

Requirements

You will need relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant relevant work experience. A sound understanding of mental health and suicidality, mental health systems and recovery-oriented practice, as well as psycho-social rehabilitation is essential. Experience working within a peer workforce, with a focus on trauma-informed, recovery-oriented practice and valuing lived experience is highly valued.

A sound knowledge of crisis intervention services and their functions within the region and steps to engage individuals into these services, case management experience, computer literacy preferably using Windows, current NSW Driver's Licence and current First Aid Certificate are all required.
