Women's Health Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Women's Health Care Specialist to provide exceptional maternity care services.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will work closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert guidance and support to less experienced clinicians to ensure delivery of person-centered quality care.
  • Utilizing best practice evidence to inform clinical decision-making.
  • Exhibiting effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills.
  • Applying evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualized woman-centered care.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a registered midwife.
  • Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities involved in caring for women and babies in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining competence and enhancement of skills.
