Requirements for Success

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a registered midwife
  • Demonstrated competencies in caring for women and babies within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Effective communication skills, utilizing technology, written, and verbal means to interact with others professionally
  • Application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualized care with a focus on quality improvement
  • Ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver high-quality care, demonstrating leadership potential and adaptability
  • Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, including ongoing professional development and commitment to maintaining competence
  • Effective prioritization and organization of workload, delivering care with integrity and accountability
