Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and reliable horse person to oversee our properties in Victoria. The successful applicant will have demonstrated horse handling experience and be confident in feeding and administering oral treatments to horses of all ages and genders.

The role involves patrolling the properties, ensuring farm security, checking horses are secured in their paddocks/stables, feeding stabled horses, administering oral medications and monitoring vital signs. Key skills and attributes include:

  • Ability to handle and treat all horses on your own
  • Ability to assist in emergency situations such as difficult foaling's
  • Reliable and positive attitude
  • Effective communication with management and the veterinary team
  • Ability to work independently
  • Keen observation skills

This is a permanent fulltime position working a rotating roster 6pm to 6am, 4 days on for 3 days off.
