Job Overview:

Solar Farm Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join our team at one of our solar farms in the Shepparton Region. As a Solar Farm Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our solar farm.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for performing electrical and communications interventions and/or corrective actions and advancing preventive activities.
  • Supervision, planning, and coordination of maintenance tasks.
  • Supervision of the operation of the plant.
  • Complete work requests and reporting.
  • Comply with all work, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing electrical and communication works.
  • Cleaning and inspection of assets and infrastructures.
  • Utilizing CMMS and managing, completing work orders.
  • Responsible for scheduled maintenance.
  • Participating on-call roster.

Requirements:

  • Unrestricted Class Electrical License (VIC) is required.
  • High Voltage Switching Qualification is desirable.
  • Work safely in the construction industry Card is required.
  • Low Voltage Rescue Training.
  • CPR Training.
  • A valid Driver's License.
  • Committed to safety and compliance with all WH&S regulations.
  • Proactive with a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
  • A team player with strong communication skills and a can-do attitude.
