Spiritual Care Practitioner

We are seeking a compassionate and spiritual individual to join our Pastoral Care team as a Pastoral Care Practitioner. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in honouring the legacy of St Vincent's Care Services and nurturing the commitment of all to our mission and values.
The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of our Mission and a genuine commitment to the service of the aged, vulnerable, and poor. You will work closely with the Facility Manager and care team to respond effectively to the diverse emotional, spiritual, and religious needs of our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide spiritual support and care to residents and their families
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in the development and implementation of spiritual programs and activities
- Provide education and training to staff on spiritual care and support
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive and respectful work environment
Requirements
- Attainment of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) qualification or equivalent
- Relevant pastoral experience in a similar clinical/care/education environment
- Tertiary studies in Theology or Mental Health
- Demonstrated ability to promote Catholic ethos
- Familiarity with Catholic culture, ritual, theology, tradition, and worldview
- Respect and sensitivity in ministry to persons of various religious, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
