Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our virtual clinic team at McLean Care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of elderly residents in rural areas.
Reporting directly to the iAgeHealth Manager, you will work autonomously and collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality care and support to our patients. Your advanced clinical skills and experience in aged care will be essential in bridging the gap for our older patients in rural areas.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of elderly residents
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans and ongoing evaluation within an aged care setting
- Prescribe medications and evaluate their effectiveness
- Provide expert supervision, mentoring, and clinical governance to ensure high-quality care
- Current APHRA registration as a Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Nurse Practitioner role
- Advanced clinical experience in assessment, developing treatment plans, and ongoing evaluation within an aged care setting
- Proven experience in medication prescription and evaluation
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
