About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at McLean Care. As a key member of our virtual clinic, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of our elderly residents.

With a strong focus on high-quality patient care, you will work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement treatment plans, provide medication prescription, and ensure the highest level of clinical governance.

This is a full-time work-from-home position, offering a competitive salary, superannuation, and a range of employee benefits.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current APHRA registration as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Nurse Practitioner role
  • Advanced clinical experience in assessment, developing treatment plans, and ongoing evaluation within an aged care setting
  • Proven experience in medication prescription and evaluation
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Advanced clinical knowledge of aged-related health issues
  • Mature outlook with the ability to relate and converse with older people
  • Commitment to working as part of the multidisciplinary team
  • Great organisational and time management skills, including the ability to establish priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to seek out and effectively utilise new knowledge as it relates to nursing practices
  • Computer literate and the ability to learn new procedures and programs
  • Knowledge and understanding of the accreditation standards in Aged Care
