We're seeking an experienced Ergonomist to join our team at WorkSafe Tasmania. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the regulation of ergonomic work health and safety risks in Tasmanian workplaces.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of ergonomic principles and practices, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to reduce musculoskeletal injuries and improve return-to-work outcomes.

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,703.00 to $150,200.00 per annum, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

  • Collaborate with internal staff and leaders to develop and implement safety systems, initiatives, and related training
  • Actively participate in quality and health and safety processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of ergonomic quality improvement, risk management, and other strategies consistent with best practice
