Job Title: Coordinator Building Maintenance Support

A key role in driving continuous improvement and enhancing financial sustainability is available. This position plays a vital part in the Facilities department.

The Building Maintenance unit includes Building Services, Contract Management and Planning. As the Coordinator Building Maintenance Support, you will lead core functions underpinning the performance of these services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing teams responsible for Building Maintenance Support, Contract Management and Facilities Planning
  • Driving improvements in contract performance, work order triage and service workflows
  • Supporting the development of clear processes and tools to improve team performance
  • Overseeing governance and risk controls across contract management, procurement and maintenance reporting
  • Guiding the development of asset data insights and lifecycle planning through facilities planning functions
  • Coaching and supporting team leaders to deliver consistent, high-quality services
  • Providing operational briefings and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Facilities Management or related field, with over 10 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in operational leadership within service delivery environments
  • Demonstrated capability in contract governance, procurement compliance and asset planning, with the ability to guide and critically evaluate contract performance at a departmental level
  • High proficiency with TechnologyOne and Microsoft Office Suite, including experience using work order and contract management platforms
  • Experience working with financial systems and reporting to support strong cost control decisions
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and resolve issues collaboratively
  • A considered leadership style that supports accountability and development
  • Proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams through change
