About this role

We are seeking passionate individuals to join our environmental conservation team in Queensland, Australia.

Job Description:

This role involves working in a team environment, maintaining physical fitness, and being self-motivated. You will be responsible for managing tasks, reporting on delivery, and upholding work health and safety policies.

You will be part of a dynamic team based on the Sunshine Coast or in the Scenic Rim, Lockyer Valley & Ipswich regional areas.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing tasks and reporting on delivery
  • Upholding work health and safety policies
  • Working in a team environment
  • Maintaining physical fitness

Essential skills and qualifications include:

  • Minimum one year experience in an environmental or agricultural field-based role
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in rough terrain
  • Ability to take direction and report on task delivery
  • Willingness to be a proactive and positive team member

Desirable qualifications and skills include:

  • Current Certificate I or III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management (equivalent certification considered)
  • Sound knowledge and identification of weeds and weed control methods
  • Knowledge of planting methodology and experience in planting

Licenses and tickets required include:

  • Chainsaw level 1 license
  • ACDC license
  • Construction White Card
  • Current Driver's license
