Main Responsibilities:
  • Supporting Sustainability Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental and sustainability considerations into business processes and decision-making.
  • Environmental Expertise: Offer expert advice and support to internal stakeholders on environmental matters, championing best practices and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Auditing and Assessments: Conduct environmental audits, assessments, and inspections to uncover opportunities for enhancement and guarantee adherence to environmental policies and procedures.
  • Incident Investigation: Play a crucial role in investigating environmental incidents, ensuring that valuable lessons are learned, and implementing appropriate actions.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize environmental performance data to identify trends and opportunities for enhancement, and develop insightful reports for management review.
  • External Partnerships: Collaborate with regulatory agencies, external consultants, clients, and third-party organisations on matters related to environmental permitting, reporting, and compliance.
  • Training and Development: Create and present engaging environmental training programs and awareness campaigns to educate employees and foster a culture of environmental sustainability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related field with relevant certifications.
  • 3+ years proven experience in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of environmental legislation, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
