Field Operations Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on power generation products in the field. This includes using specialized tools, following documented procedures and policies, and escalating unresolved issues to more experienced technicians or supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply the use of specialized tools and follow documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and tools.
- Elevate unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field.
- Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
- Undertake training in line with skill and business requirements.
- Maintain service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
- Train electrical apprentices in and out of the branch.
- Coordinate jobs and responsibilities within the branch and delegate workload.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation.
- Complete in-workshop repairs as required.
- Possess a Diploma/Certificate from a relevant technical institution.
- Hold current relevant electrical certification/tickets.
- Exhibit basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products.
- Prioritize High Voltage/Low Voltage Experience.
