About the Role

The National Centre of Excellence in Intellectual Disability Health at UNSW Australia is seeking a Lived Experience Project Worker to join our team.

As a Lived Experience Project Worker, you will work closely with our project managers and project officers to co-design and co-deliver projects that improve healthcare for people with intellectual disability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Co-developing project plans and resources
  • Co-designing accessible documents and resources
  • Testing and providing feedback on project materials
  • Working collaboratively with project teams to achieve project goals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Lived experience of intellectual disability
  • A passion for improving healthcare for people with intellectual disability
  • An understanding of project management principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
