About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Lifestyle Solutions. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently in their own homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and support individuals to develop their personal interests and skills
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking, domestic and social skills
  • Administer medication and adhere to individual support plans
  • Complete clear and concise handover notes and incident reports
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, showering, feeding and dressing when required
  • Support individuals to engage with their local communities and culture through access to Community Participation Programs and recreational activities
Requirements
  • Current driver's license (mandatory requirement)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or be willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid Certificate, HLTAID003
  • Up to date Covid Vaccinations
  • Formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar, would be advantageous
