Logistics Operations Coordinator

Job Description:

The role of a Logistics Operations Coordinator is to oversee the full functionality of import and export operations on a hands-on basis. This includes coordinating with key contact points, receiving pre-alerts from origins, and ensuring proper shipping documents and propriety of details.

As a Logistics Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing vendors and service providers within Australia, monitoring all SEA or AIR shipments activities, and managing and releasing D/O for all destination local operators/transporters from port to W/H with proper clearance on customs.

Additionally, you will analyze KPI results and provide data analysis for management, with solutions to improve overall daily operational processes. You will also monitor and manage EDI Data receiving and sending status.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in 3PL / freight forwarding industry is essential.
  • Proven attention to detail and the ability to multi task.
  • Tertiary qualification is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Intermediate Office Suite skill (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
  • Proven communication skills with highly developed analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Be punctual and possess a professional attitude.
  • Be highly responsible and reliable.
