Logistics Operations Specialist

The Logistics Operations Specialist plays a vital role in driving operational efficiency and implementing initiatives to enhance productivity. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including vendors, internal customers, and global distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, distribution, supplies requisition, resource management, and inventory management.
  • Oversee vendor management (3PL, freight forwarder, customs broker, transporter) to ensure key performance indicators are met for activities such as imports, exports, transportation, customs brokerage, warehouse storage & distribution.
  • Coordinate local procurement and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Manage inventory, including reviewing back-ordered items, expediting deliveries from distribution centers, safety stock sizing, forecasting, excess and obsolete reviews (E&O), and scrap.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive lean and continuous improvement projects on process and productivity improvements and cost reductions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics & supply chain management or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Experience in import, export, and customs regulations.
  • Proficient in SAP and MS office is a must.
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated, and well-organized.
  • Vocal with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical and meticulous with good follow-up skills.
