About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Academic Nursing Educator to join our team at The University of Notre Dame Australia.
As an Academic Nursing Educator, you will play a key role in teaching and assessing nursing students, delivering and developing courses, and supporting ongoing curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
You will also lead quality activities, supervise graduate diploma students, and act as subject coordinators.
In this role, you will be active in the recruitment of students and the marketing of our programs, working collaboratively with other academic staff members to ensure coherence and quality in all aspects of the academic program.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent and a Postgraduate qualification or Master's degree in a relevant discipline. You will have current nurse registration with Ahpra and at least 3 years clinical nursing experience.
You will also possess excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
This is a full-time opportunity with a salary of $138,367 to $158,744 pa (Level C) + 14.25% superannuation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and assess nursing students in various courses
- Deliver, develop, and coordinate nursing courses
- Support ongoing curriculum development and quality assurance processes
- Lead quality activities, including peer review and benchmarking
- Supervise graduate diploma students and act as subject coordinators
- Recruit students and market programs offered by the School
- Evaluate courses and recommend changes as needed
