Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Manager

A senior role that supports operational leaders in delivering environmental and sustainability initiatives across Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland.

About the Role
  • Develop and deliver key environmental and sustainability activities to support achievement of sector targets
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support a culture of innovation and client focus, advocating for partnership and influencing adoption of new technologies and processes in line with enterprise goals

The successful candidate will have previous experience in sustainability or environmental management operating at a senior level, understanding of and experience aligning to respected sustainability standards and/or frameworks, and demonstrated success in delivering sustainability objectives.

This is a permanent full-time role offering flexible working arrangements. The successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively with our operational teams to build environmental sustainability knowledge and capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sector sustainability targets
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for sustainability improvement
  • Provide guidance and support to operational teams on sustainability matters
  • Monitor and report on sustainability metrics and progress
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in sustainability or environmental management operating at a senior level
  • Understanding of and experience aligning to respected sustainability standards and/or frameworks
  • Demonstrated success in delivering sustainability objectives
