Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Professional to join our team and lead the development of our Liquor Sustainability strategy. This is a key role that will drive sustainability initiatives across our business, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.

The successful candidate will have experience in sustainability in a retail or FMCG environment and a clear passion for and expertise in climate, packaging and community related topics. They will also have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Liquor Sustainability strategy, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Coordinate the implementation of sustainability initiatives, including project management and technical support.
  • Provide technical guidance on sustainability matters, including waste and recycling systems and related sustainability impacts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers and consultants to drive sustainability outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in sustainability in a retail or FMCG environment.
  • A clear passion for and expertise in climate, packaging and community related topics.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes.
  • Project management experience of complex programs of work.
  • Technical understanding of waste and recycling systems and related sustainability impacts.
