Job Title: HSE Manager

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives on a large-scale industrial project.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Maintain HSE Plan: Develop, implement and maintain the project-specific HSE management plan to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  2. Provide Guidance and Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to ensure a safe working environment across all project phases and promote a proactive safety culture through engagement, training and consistent communication.
  3. Advise Project Leadership: Advise project leadership on HSE-related issues, risks and strategies to ensure project objectives are met.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Compliance with local, national and international health, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Maintenance of accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Design and delivery of effective HSE training programs for project staff and subcontractors.
  • Promotion of sustainability practices and compliance with environmental permits and standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Certifications: NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH membership or equivalent qualifications. Environmental management certifications (e.g. ISO 14001) are advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of HSE management experience on large industrial or construction projects.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, standards and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
