Job Title:

Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead the delivery of major capital projects. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

About the Role:

  • Manage project planning, scheduling, cost control, procurement, and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Foster a culture of safe delivery, continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Manage project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Oversee project execution methodologies and provide ongoing status reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have experience in managing complex projects, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering results-oriented solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years direct experience managing projects on major hazards facilities.
  • A safety leader with demonstrable experience of embedding safety considerations into all phases of a project.
  • Proven experience in managing capital projects in the chemicals/agricultural sectors.
  • Demonstrated project delivery skills necessary to initiate and lead project packages, develop design/implementation schedules, execution methodologies, and provide ongoing status reports.
  • Hands-on and performance-driven project manager with demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a live operational environment.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • PMP or equivalent certification highly regarded.
