About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Advisor to join our team. As a key advisor, you'll provide timely, sound, and strategic advice to ensure AGL meets its regulatory compliance requirements. You'll also partner with our Retail Transformation program to implement and monitor new regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert regulatory advice to business units, highlighting relevant regulatory risks and enabling informed decision-making.
  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with retail energy market regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver regulatory compliance initiatives and projects.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members, developing their skills and expertise.
  • Promote a positive compliance culture within Customer Markets and the Retail Transformation Program.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a regulatory or compliance role within the retail energy industry.
  • Strong legal skills for interpreting regulatory impacts on business processes and outcomes.
  • Commercial and strategic attitude toward ensuring regulatory compliance within the business.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and partner with others to develop and execute strategy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulations to shape and implement future initiatives.
