Logistics Operations AssistantJob Description

A Logistics Operations Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring seamless infrastructure operations and maintaining a safe and secure environment. The right candidate will provide the necessary support to our logistics team, guaranteeing that parts are delivered promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining accurate inventory levels to meet operational requirements.
  • Receiving and issuing parts as needed for internal customers.
  • Transporting parts between sites to ensure timely delivery.
  • Conducting regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory records.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and best practices.
  • Assisting in cycle counts and receiving stock into the inventory control system, requiring occasional travel to off-site locations.
Physical Demands
  • Loading and unloading shipments safely and efficiently.
  • Standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods while performing tasks.
  • Engaging in frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and kneeling activities.
  • Reaching and stretching while maintaining balance during tasks.
  • Pushing or pulling heavy objects up to 16kg, or participating in group lifts.
  • Working in an office and warehouse environment with moderate noise levels.
