Job Overview
Our company is seeking a skilled logistics professional to join our team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a key role in streamlining operations across our supply chain. Reporting to the Head of Logistics, you will be responsible for driving process improvements, managing third-party logistics providers, and supporting internal efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Improvement: Work closely with 3PL providers to identify and implement process enhancements, ensuring operational agreements are upheld.
  • Logistics Coordination: Train and upskill logistics coordinators on logistics tools and systems, developing clear process documentation.
  • Freight and Warehousing Management: Reconcile freight and warehousing invoices, creating effective invoice checking processes for international and domestic carriers.
  • Logistics Inbox Management: Manage the logistics inbox, responding promptly and accurately to incoming queries.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform and oversee key logistics administrative tasks to maintain smooth operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders to resolve logistics issues and drive operational alignment.
  • Operational Alignment: Implement agreed process improvements across internal departments to boost efficiency and performance.
  • Project Support: Assist the logistics management team with project rollout and execution.
  • Cost Analysis: Provide input into freight and warehousing cost analysis, assisting in tender processes.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Educational Background: University degree qualified in a relevant field (logistics, supply chain, business, or similar).
  • Logistics Experience: Experienced in logistics operations, ideally within e-commerce, retail, or high-volume supply chains. Familiarity with international freight highly regarded.
  • Relationship Management: Skilled at working with 3PL providers, focusing on relationship management and operational improvement.
  • Process Orientation: Process-oriented and detail-driven, with a strong ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
  • Financial Management: Comfortable reconciling invoices and managing financial processes with accuracy and diligence.
  • Communication Skills: A natural communicator who thrives in collaborative environments, able to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Task Management: Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Logistics Systems: Confident using logistics systems and tools, capable of training others in best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Passionate about continuous improvement, always looking for ways to optimize and enhance logistics processes.
