
Contract Negotiation Specialist

This role presents a unique opportunity to work as part of a high-performance team, offering exposure to various commercial contracts and the autonomy to advise stakeholders directly.
Key Responsibilities:- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including procurement, services, construction, and technology agreements;
- Support the business on complex commercial transactions and projects;
- Advise on contract risk, obligations, and structuring across operational functions;
- Manage contract disputes and collaborate with external counsel when necessary;
- Contribute to compliance initiatives and corporate governance processes;
- Maintain and improve internal templates, policies, and legal resources.
- Admitted as a solicitor in Australia;
- 4–7 years PQE in commercial law, ideally with experience in contract negotiation and transactional work;
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or technology contracts is highly regarded;
- In-house experience is desirable but not essential;
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to work closely with non-legal stakeholders;
- Proactive, solution-focused, and confident managing competing priorities.
