A prestigious organization is seeking a highly skilled Project Security Officer to spearhead the management and delivery of project security requirements on an upcoming venture. This site-based role involves collaborating with the project team to ensure physical security aligns with client security standards and the project security plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison between security stakeholders, maintaining daily communication with Regional Security Managers, Data Centre Security Managers, and other relevant personnel.
  • Provide comprehensive security oversight throughout the construction phase, ensuring the delivery of secure facilities through attendance at security assurance Hold and Witness Point inspections.
  • Compile and submit security assurance reports to the AWS Security Assurance Team. Document and track security-related issues and incidents.
  • Effectively manage, respond, and record any security issues or incidents occurring throughout the construction phase in accordance with the Security Response Plan.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with project security requirements, proactively identifying potential security risks and implementing mitigation strategies throughout the construction phase.
  • Facilitate meetings with clients, resolve issues, and report on matters relating to security compliance.
  • Bring high-level attention to detail and a meticulous approach.
  • Experience in construction security oversight or related fields is highly desirable.
About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of experience working in Physical Security Operations. Demonstrated knowledge of Physical Security best practices, including the application of Physical Security Systems, Investigation Techniques, and Security Incident Management.
