Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our expanding team, working with a diverse customer base.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and demonstrate solutions, as well as guiding customers through their requirements for security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and demonstrate solutions.
  • Deliver security projects, including initial client workshops to understand technical specifications and the creation of project deliverables such as High-Level Designs, Detailed Level Designs, Implementation & Test Plans, and As-Built Documents.
  • Conduct technical workshops, GRC audits, and presentations to deliver to a technical audience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Cyber Security Specialist.
  • Experience implementing SIEM solutions.
  • Confident working to timeframes, roadmaps, and deadlines.
  • Ability to review new and existing Information Technology projects for information security compliance by developing, documenting, and communicating adherence to architecture, blueprints, components, standards, and strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with a variety of customers in a consultative position.
  • Working knowledge of international security and risk-related standards or frameworks such as ASD8, NIST, ISO, PCI, GDPR.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Relevant security architecture certifications (e.g., CISSP, SABSA, ISO Lead Auditor, TOGAF, CISM) are highly beneficial.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
