The Role
">We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to join our team, responsible for the establishment and execution of Release Management processes to support our Business System. Reporting to the Director of Scheme Platforms Environment & Release, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Release Management processes in consultation with relevant business stakeholders, including third-party suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain the Release Management processes
- Drive regular forums using work management tools
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
- Coordinate the production of Release, Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans
- Liaise with delivery partners for system implementation
- Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges
- Produce regular Release Reporting and represent the Release program
Requirements
">We are looking for someone with a strong background in Release Management, preferably with at least 3-5 years of experience in managing Releases and delivering systems based on contemporary platforms and architectures. You should have a proven track record in project management, software development/configuration, testing, system delivery, governance frameworks, and methodologies. Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a Diploma of Project Management or SAFe Agile certification, are also essential.
In addition, we require a high level of integration to internal and external systems, as well as a strong knowledge of contemporary project management practices. As an Australian citizen, you must either hold or be willing to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
