Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Chief Cloud Platform Specialist to spearhead our cloud-based infrastructure and platform engineering initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned IT professional looking to leverage their expertise in operations and platform engineering to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale cloud platforms across Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, enterprise networking, and cloud security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices, automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash), CI/CD pipeline engineering, and infrastructure as code (Terraform or ARM).
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high uptime and performance in 24x7 SaaS support environments.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in senior IT roles with a focus on operations and platform engineering.
  • Proven expertise across Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, enterprise networking, and cloud security.
  • Proficiency in automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure as code (Terraform or ARM).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in guiding and mentoring teams.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with HR/Payroll SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and SQL Profiler.
  • Azure SQL Managed Instance knowledge and ITIL certification.
