About the Role

We are seeking a Risk and Compliance Lead to join our team based in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney. As a key member of our risk and assurance team, you will work closely with senior leaders to maintain and manage the risk and compliance frameworks, providing guidance and support to the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong risk culture across the organisation, ensuring the effective embedding of operational risk and opportunity management frameworks into all bids and projects.
  • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of risk management software, including user access provisioning, end-user support, and training.
  • Conduct independent operational reviews of projects to provide assurance to leadership on progression and potential risks during both mobilisation and delivery phases.
  • Analyse key metric indicators and operational risk to identify project trends and work with responsible parties to understand and monitor risk management strategies.
  • Maintain the compliance framework and programme, including conducting business ethics company and project audits and reviews on adherence to the Group Code of Conduct.

About You

  • Minimum of three years' risk and compliance or project delivery experience, preferably within the construction and engineering industry.
  • Experience working in a large and complex organisation.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Sound experience with frameworks and policies.
  • Ability to read and interpret legislative changes into practice.
  • Technically strong with ability to use initiative.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills on all levels.
