Job Overview

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to critical sustainability and climate-related data analysis.
  • Collaborating with the Group Sustainability & Climate Manager on energy and emissions performance analysis.
  • Supporting timely sustainability and climate disclosures.
  • Assisting in developing responses to investor and ESG analyst benchmarking surveys and reports.
  • Promoting sustainability awareness across the organization.
  • Providing input into management strategies around current and emerging sustainability risks and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, accounting, law, or a related field.
  • A recent graduate or up to 3 years relevant experience in sustainability consulting or related roles, business or data analyst with an interest in emissions and energy data, operational environment roles with an interest in corporate sustainability.
  • Awareness of sustainability frameworks, certifications, and standards.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in Australia.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication, project management, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and convey sustainability concepts.
