**About the Role**

Diageo's success is built on marketing and sales of its spirits, packaged beer, RTD, and draught brands. As a Brand Manager, you will play a key leadership role in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans for our Single Malts portfolio of brands in Australia.

This is an exceptional opportunity to steer this luxury portfolio of global icons into a new stage of growth. You will focus on building a share-winning strategy to grow our Single Malts brands in the highly competitive alcoholic beverages category.

The role requires partnership with multiple local and Global Brand teams to execute brand and portfolio plans across all functions. You will work closely with the Innovation Team to prioritize the 3-year innovation pipeline and launch NPD to market.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Owning and leading the end-to-end Single Malts strategy, including development of yearly and quarterly Marketing Business Plans (MBP)
  • Leading the execution of the brand and portfolio plans through the business, liaising with the GBT to localize the global brand strategy and growth drivers
  • Partnering with Finance, Supply, and Commercial functions to maximize global volume allocation of liquid across the portfolio, driving profit and growth
  • Collaborating with the Prestige sales team and Whisky Ambassador to create aspiration and advocacy for the Single Malts brands in the market
  • Managing the Single Malts P&L, closely monitoring brand performance on a monthly basis and working with commercial teams to make interventions where required

**Requirements:**

  • Love for our brands; high levels of emotional energy and impact to drive the brand's agenda within the business
  • Undergraduate degree in business/marketing or related field
  • Strong proven experience creating strategies for growth
  • Experience in brand management in FMCG or alcohol industry desired
  • Insights-driven, curious about consumers, and able to unlock insights to change consumer relationships with brands
  • Good commercial experience driving portfolio commercial outcomes
  • Creative, inspiring agency partners to deliver breakthrough communications thinking
  • Strong capability to manage senior relationships cross-functionally and influence people at all levels of the organization
