Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Applications Analyst to join our IT Operations team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and reliability of our production systems, platforms, and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Operations and Infrastructure teams to resolve problems at the second/third level.
  • Manage incident escalations and vendor involvement for supported systems, platforms, and applications.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Infrastructure teams to manage all applications installations, maintenance, and problems.
  • Meet with user groups to gather and analyze end-user requirements.
  • Analyze workflows to create process maps and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in IT or a relevant business environment, coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Proven ability to operate in a complex, fast-paced, multi-level IT environment.
  • Working knowledge of Product Development, Process Development and Improvement, or Operations management is highly desirable.
  • Ability to converse with both end-users and IT employees at all levels of the organisation.
  • Good understanding of all aspects of the systems/software development lifecycle.
