Health and Wellness Program Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the development, coordination, and growth of health and wellness programs in our community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying needs and opportunities for Stepping On Hubs
  • Promoting, administering, and coordinating a range of health, wellness, and social programs for older people living in the community
  • Creating and maintaining a welcoming environment that actively engages members of the local community to participate in programs to improve their health and wellbeing
  • Ongoing coordination and management of the program calendars of events
  • Coordination of staff and volunteers to facilitate weekly programs

The ideal candidate will possess qualifications in Allied Health, Health Promotion, Leisure and Lifestyle, or similar fields, and have demonstrated understanding and commitment to improving the health, wellbeing, and quality of life of older people living in the community.

This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate, not-for-profit tax benefits, fitness passport discounted gym membership, paid parental leave, long service leave after 5 years, and additional week of leave for Enterprise Agreement shift workers.
