Business Development Manager

A dynamic opportunity awaits an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales and growth in QLD, leveraging strong national capability while securing projects across commercial, industrial, and resources sectors.

This exciting role involves expanding and strengthening the QLD client base, developing pursuit strategies, and securing opportunities with Tier 1 & 2 contractors, EPCMs, and principal project owners. You will lead tenders and proposals in collaboration with estimating, design, and procurement teams, representing the QLD business in negotiations and client engagement.

To succeed in this position, you will possess a proven track record in business development within structural steel, fabrication, industrial construction, or mining projects. Strong understanding of QLD's resources, infrastructure, or commercial construction sectors is essential, along with experience managing complex tenders and building lasting client relationships. Commercial acumen and a driven, results-focused mindset are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand and strengthen QLD client base
  • Develop pursuit strategies and secure opportunities
  • Lead tenders and proposals in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Represent QLD business in negotiations and client engagement
