Job Description

As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of programs that amplify lived experience voices in homelessness and domestic, family, and sexual violence. Your role will involve designing and implementing trauma-aware, strengths-based, and culturally safe initiatives that promote meaningful engagement and advocacy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining partnerships with government agencies, community organizations, and sector stakeholders to advance advocacy efforts;
  • Overseeing sub-contractors, partners, and program components, including culturally specific initiatives and evaluations;
  • Ensuring compliance with reporting and budget management requirements;
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in social work, community development, health promotion, or related fields (postgraduate desirable);
  • A strong background in lived experience advocacy and program management;
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, CALD groups, and senior stakeholders;
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice, co-design principles, and the ethical foundations of lived experience advisory bodies;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce complex documentation and facilitate inclusive, accessible engagement;
