School Leadership Specialist - Special Education

Job Description

The successful candidate will serve as a senior member of staff in a special needs secondary school, leading educational initiatives and overseeing quality educational programs and behavior management for students with mild-severe intellectual and multiple disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of curriculum plans in collaboration with the principal and other staff members.
  • Promote effective teaching practices among teachers and provide guidance and support to ensure student success.
  • Ensure the well-being and safety of students with mild-severe intellectual and multiple disabilities through proactive measures.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in special education and leadership roles is essential.
  • Able to work collaboratively with staff members and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this position.
  • Familiarity with curriculum planning and implementation is also required.
