Bus Transportation Role

Our organization is seeking a reliable and experienced Bus Driver to provide transportation services to residents at our residential aged care home in Caboolture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Picking up equipment (e.g. mobility aids) and resident shopping from the bus depot
  • Folding and unfolding mobility aids as required
  • Accompanying residents during outings, providing support and assistance as needed
  • Engaging with residents, encouraging them to participate in activities and outings
  • Aiding residents with simple mobilisation, including pushing wheelchairs when trained to do so
Requirements:
  • Licence to drive buses of 22 passenger capacity or less
  • Previous experience using lifting equipment and assistive devices (desirable)
  • Ability to use computer software (Word and Excel)
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
  • Complete a police check
