
Vulnerable Support Specialist

As a compassionate and skilled caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals in their own homes.
You will be responsible for delivering domestic assistance and social services, including outings, cooking, pet care, cleaning, gardening, and transportation. You will work closely with clients to understand their goals and needs, and use an app to track important information and identify potential hazards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting independence and dignity.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks, taking into account dietary requirements and restrictions.
- Accompany clients on outings, engaging them in activities and promoting social interaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (desirable).
- Experience working within the aged care sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor, with a strong sense of empathy and compassion.
- A current Australian Driver's License and registered vehicle for travel.
