Job Opportunity for Dedicated Caregivers

Our organisation is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Carers to join our team in the Moreton Bay Region. As a Personal Carer, you will be caring for our clients in their own homes around Kallangur to Caboolture and the surrounding areas.

To be successful in this role, you will need a driver's license and reliable car with comprehensive insurance. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to provide emotional support to our clients.

As a key member of our care team, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality personal care and domestic assistance to our clients. This will include tasks such as showering, grooming and dressing, as well as meal preparation, transport and medication prompts.

You will also be required to develop a plan along with each client to improve their lives and follow it daily. This may involve providing companionship, supporting with daily living activities, and helping clients to maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing personal care - showering, grooming & dressing
  • Domestic assistance - vacuuming, mopping, laundry, ironing, cleaning bathrooms, light gardening, changing beds
  • Meal preparation
  • Transport clients to appointments, shopping or other social activities
  • Medication prompts
  • Develop a plan along with the client to improve their lives and follow it daily
  • Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
  • Responding to emergency situations
