About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Data to join our IT & Digital Enablement team in Melbourne. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for growing a team of data scientists and engineers to build robust data practices that deliver insights and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountability for DuluxGroup data management capability and governance practices and principles
  • Accountability for business intelligence platforms, standard reporting platforms and descriptive analytics and visualization capability
  • Accountability for Advanced Analytics delivery capability
  • Development of AI capability across the group, to enable implementation of usage cases to demonstrate tangible business value and operational efficiency
  • Influencing and enhancing a data-driven culture for DuluxGroup through, community, people and talent development
  • Coach, mentor and develop a strong team

Requirements

  • Significant people leadership experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and evidence of currency
  • Relevant experience demonstrating growth in technical capability
  • Great commercial acumen and the ability to tell a compelling story
  • Strong stakeholder management & relationship building skills
