Network Operations Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Expert to join our global team responsible for 24x7 monitoring, incident response, and operational support of international networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively monitor network infrastructure, including fibre systems, optical transmission, IP routers/switches, and environmental telemetry using tools like MCP, Observium, and New Relic.
  • Automation Development: Develop and implement automations to reduce manual work, streamline reporting, and carry out routine administration tasks within the NOC.
  • Triage and resolve network events and incidents in accordance with SLAs, escalating appropriately via service management systems.
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates within incident and change tickets, ensuring clear communication to stakeholders during outages or service degradations.

You will collaborate with industry leaders on critical infrastructure projects that drive Australia's digital future.

Essential Skills:

  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, fibre systems, optical transmission, IP routers/switches, and environmental telemetry.
  • Automation Expertise: Experience with automation tools and languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
