**Senior Trade Fresh Leader Role Overview**

This role involves leading and driving high performance trading teams to secure the best deals with national and local suppliers based on strategic market initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead category planning and execution approaches that deliver wholesale sales, revenue growth and improvements in COGs for retailers.
  • Expand product range into high growth segments while delivering best in market wholesale pricing.
  • Set strategic agendas and partner with Suppliers to meet collective channel needs on range, price, promotion, brand and store compliance.
  • Collaborate with Channel and State teams to embed new ways of working fueled by customer, retailer and business outcomes.
  • Enable the highest standards of commercial execution and rewarding behavior that drives network growth.

**Requirements:**

  • Business leader with 10+ years in a commercial leadership role.
  • Commercial acumen with intimate knowledge of the drivers of success in a category P&L.
  • Part of a leadership team in strategy creation and planning, strong leader with a track record of delivering commercial outcomes, continuous improvement, change and growth initiatives.
  • Tenacious, innovative and proven negotiation skills that build partnerships with suppliers for mutual growth.
