The Powerhouse Operations Manager role is responsible for controlling stationary engines and mechanical equipment to provide utilities for manufacturing and cold rooms. Key responsibilities include:

  • Record keeping and tracking of refrigeration operations
  • Inspection of equipment for operating efficiency
  • Monitoring of conditions for Quality Assurance and product safety
  • Upholding and distilling safety practices in the workplace
  • Undertaking Preventive Maintenance duties to ensure equipment reliability

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Qualifications as a Refrigeration Mechanic
  • High Risk Work License (Advanced Boiler preferable)
  • Excellent communications and technical skills
  • Demonstrated experience in engine room / ammonia refrigeration operations
  • Flexibility to work rotating rosters across day and night shifts
